SeaWorld San Diego to observe Memorial Day with flag ceremonies, military band performances, fireworks, and more
SeaWorld San Diego announced Tuesday a series of events to honor Memorial Day, from Friday, May 24, to Monday, May 27.
The park will host a flag ceremony each day at 10:00 a.m. to pay tribute to the fallen heroes of the United States Armed Forces. Additionally, the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing Band will perform live at the Skytower Lawn stage.
A fireworks display is scheduled nightly, starting Saturday, May 25, and will commence 10 minutes before the park closes each evening.
Throughout May, U.S. military veterans and up to three guests can gain free one-day admission as part of the Waves of Honor program by United Parks & Resorts. This initiative, aimed at honoring active-duty military members, veterans, and their families, offers special pricing and promotions.
SeaWorld San Diego also has a Memorial Day Sale underway, offering up to 50% off on admission tickets, fun cards, and annual passes through May 27.
